Square

The square is one of the most easily recognizable masonic symbols, the square teaches us to square our actions by the square of virtue. Thus being mindful, purposful and responsible in our actions. The square emblem initially one edge longer than the other, other the centuries, the long end became shorter and the short end became longer until reaching the symetrical square we have today. In a lodge, the square typically represents the Worshipful Master.
